Belec Power & Energy Solutions Limited is led by a Registered Engineer who is qualified, knowledgeable and has immense experience in diverse applications in the field of electrical.
Our Company has been in existence for over nineteen (19) years and maintains excellent relationships with key bodies such as T&TEC and the Government Electrical Inspectorate.
By virtue of accountability, amongst others, our Company provides high and industry standard quality of works, which are certified by our Registered Electrical Engineer, and offers at least one (1) year warranty on its workmanship, notwithstanding the respective warranties on materials.
We are committed to employing and supporting motivated, skilled, trained, flexible, and focused teams who adhere to stringent safety practices. Also, we possess a relevant range of certified tools and equipment to ensure our projects are undertaken responsibly and not compromising on quality. Our Corporate Social Responsibility
Recycling initiative
BELEC Power & Energy Solutions Limited wanted to do our part to help impact the environment in a positive way and we decided to start our recycling project. As stewards of the environment we are responsible for preserving and protecting our resources for ourselves and for our future generations.
In partnering with the Recyclable Solid Waste Collection Project, fondly called iCARE, we learned that iCARE promotes voluntary public participation in the recovery of beverage containers for recycling. In Trinidad, there are four main post-consumer beverage containers that are collected, which are glass bottles, aluminum cans, drink cartons and plastics bottles.
We started our project on 8th August 2022, where we focused on only the collection of plastic bottles of all sizes from our Company. Participants include employees, clients and all other shareholders who visit our premises.
Designated and marked collection bins are situated in various locations throughout our compound, and when they are filled, we take them across to one of iCARE’s main holding areas in Arima, from where they will be taken for recycling.
In the future we hope to expand on our recycling efforts and play a greater role in helping to preserve the environment.
